Lynda Lemay at the St-Cyrille …the days after

It is several days after Lynda Lemay's show on July 29, and it is still on people's lips in Sorel. Folks still coming around to verify the rumour. The 11:30hr show lasted 'till 4:30 in the morning. The members of Boogie Wonder Band ended up at the St-Cyrille and each did a bit with Lynda.

Thursday July 28:
Mike Weisinger is in town on vacation. At 19:30hr he visits his friend Denis Castilloux of le Cabaret du St-Cyrille to present his new bride Lynda Lemay. She finds the place charming and Lynda Lemay wants to sing in the Cabaret. A date is fixed for the 29th at 23:30hr.

Friday July 29:
The local radio station, CJSO 101.7 FM, brodcasts the surprise at the start of its morning programming.

It's the 2005 Poker Run in Sorel-Tracy. During the sound check at 19:30hr, the sidewalk in front of the St-Cyrille is jammed packed with people who came to town to check up on the rumour that Lynda Lemay is at the Cabaret.

The Friday looks promising: Lynda Lemay at the St-Cyrille and Berth Rock 'n Blues band and Boogie Wonder Band in the Carré Royal park in the city centre where the big boats are displayed.
