Bob Walsh

Undeniably, Bob Walsh is the sweetheart of le Cabaret du Saint-Cyrille. This is his fifth appearance since the year 2000. This spring he will present a show made to measure for le Cabaret du Saint-Cyrille.

Sacred cow on the Quebec scene, Bob Walsh has been doing the blues since the 60's. Always being self-renewing, he surrounds himself with the best elements: Jean-Fernand Girard on piano and arrangements, instigator of "Unforgetable Songs", Guy Bélanger on harmonica, who delighted us with the music of "Gas Bar Blues", and Jean Cyr, one with his bass.

Bob Walsh will perform extracts from his new album along with a medley of songs from all his albums to date. As a opener in his special presentation for the Cabaret, Bob Walsh and team will introduce harmonicist singer Martin Goyette and guitarist Tytus Zurawski both of Riverside Blues. This is the same Martin Goyette that put on a stunning show last december along with his band. Let us hope that both Bob Walsh's and Martin Goyette's voices will duo for us on that night…
