Maryse Letarte is an ex-student of the prestigious Grove School of Music in Los Angeles and was introduced to the piano, at the age of three, by her maternal grandmother. With brilliant intelligent lyrics and songs that are very personal, Maryse Letarte has already been ranked among the top new original francophone artists. It's in this same trend that singer songwriter Maryse Letarte launched her long awaited second album titled "Le Motif"
Sown from the poetry of within on music long on the exploration of rhythms along with the colour of guitars and keyboards, Le Motif represents a sort of pop-realist quilt with suble textured musical patchwork but always with clear outlook of the reality and people that surround her.
Maryse Letarte, a one woman band, scores music and lyrics, arranges, produces, and stamps her second CD on her own label, les Disques Rococo.
