Blues Gitan Eccoci

Eccoci, (here we are!) is the title of the new CD from Blues Gitan, back for a third visit to le Cabaret du Saint-Cyrille. Rated five globes by the Métro newspaper, it is a mix of original material and re-makes done in the style of Blues Gitan. Aromas of mediterranean, rhumba, flamenco, and gypsy blend together in both an odd and unique way.

Eccoci brings to the forefront the virtuosity of these five exceptional musicians called Blues Gitan. They are: guitarist Stéphane Tellier of Sorel, violinist Kristin Molnar, Angelo Finaldi on bass, guitarist Denis Violletti, and Roger Cloutier on percussions.

Their music is a virtual passport with sonances of French, Hungarian, Russian, Armenian, Italian, and Spanish. A stunning melt that reflects the multiculturism of Montreal.
