Best Shot Band «Tribute to Pat Benatar»

It was in 1982 that Hélène Prévost, native of Senneterre in Abitibi, discovered Pat Benatar and the album «Get Nervous». She literally fell in love with these songs. From that moment on and inspired by her powerful voice, both harsh and sharp at the same time, this young singer could not help but sing the hits of this queen of American rock. After a few unsuccessful attempts she managed, in January 2004, to assemble the ideal musicians that she longed for.

The group has five members all living in the Sorel area. The first was Daniel Forbes «Solo man», a guitarist of great depth. His electrifying guitar playing and the energy he releases will move your spirits with his interpretations of this good old rock'n'roll.

Next came Patrick Bélanger «Hit man», an exceptional drummer, who knows how to transmit emotions that captivate the public. The crowd becomes animated to the sound of his rhythm and drums.

A few weeks later Sylvain Paillé became part of the group. An experienced bassman, he, without doubt, enhances the unique feeling of the 80's. The magnificent and warm sound of the bass seduces and brings the audience to its nirvana.

Finally Yves Chapdelaine «Charlie» completes the group. Excellent on keyboards and guitar he brings that touch of magic the group needed in their music and, because of his talent, he is named leader of the band.

Best Shot Band, here's a group without equal that does a tribute with a remarkable attention to perfection. They do an integral rendition of all the hits of Pat Benatar plus introduce the spectators to other songs just as inspiring. It's incredible how easy it is for them to bring the audience to the universe of rock as it was 20 years ago. Fantastic vocals and music and the ambiance is unbelievable. A very interesting show which surely will be unforgettable.
