Bédaines Breakfast, the experience started in October 2001 when François Plante, Serge Capistran and Éric Farley joined forces to form the Saint-Thomas House Band. Two weeks later Jimmy-Raymond Lacroix joined them and brought with him his spirit and lyrics.
In less than two years, Bédaines Breakfast already has over thirty original songs which they sing with regularity. Very quickly their songs take up more space. In 2002 and 2003, Bédaines Breakfast appeared in many pubs and venues in the Sorel-Tracy area.
In December 2003 Bédaines Breakfast entered a studio to cut a demo which then took on the shape of an album. They completed the thirteen songs of the demo in March 2004.
On May 28 the group put on a show, composed entirely of original material, at the Café-théâtre Les Beaux-Instants before an audience of more than 200 people.
