built a fan base throughout Japan, Europe, United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.
Over the last 6 years they've achieved an impressive reputation, having shared the
stage with Kool & the Gang, J.T. Taylor, The Trammps, KC & the Sunshine Band, War,
Gloria Gaynor, Rick James, Chic, Céline Dion, Paul Schaeffer, etc...
The Boogie Wonder Band has entertained some of the most famous & prestigious people
such as Donald Trump & Céline Dion for their Birthday celebration, New Year's Eve at the
Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida, as featured performers at major sporting events around
the world including Monaco, Indianapolis and Montreal Formula One Grand-Prix,
Montreal's Olympic Stadium for the Expo season opener, the PGA senior golf tournament
and many more. They have also played for some of the largest corporations such as Mc
Donald's, IBM, General Electric, March of Dimes, Walt Disney, Club Med , etc... The
Boogie Wonder Band continues to perform at Casinos across North America: Taj Mahal
and all Trump properties, Hilton, Ballys, Excalibur, Foxwoods , the Paris, Montreal Casino,
etc..
After their first two CD's "Keep Disco Alive!" and "Kings of Discoland", the band has just
released their brand new CD "FLY" that includes 12 original tunes that'll hook you up,the
Boogie Wonder Band has already started to make some noise!
The album "FLY" , produced by Michael Weisinger (Kool & the Gang, Paula Abdul, Joe
Cocker). Recorded at Studio Piccolo, Montreal by Sylvain "Sly" Brisebois (Les Co-locs,
Robert Charlebois) Mixed by Robert "Cubby" Colby (Prince, Janet Jackson, Phil Collins)
at Master Mix Studios in Minneapolis and mastered by Grammy Award winner Scott Hull
(Steely Dan, Garbage, Nelly Furtado) at Classic Sound in New York.
The Boogie Wonder Band invades your home with their brand new music video
"Whatever" filmed by European producer Tristan Dubois. In this clip the band hits you
with their raw & contagious energy. "Whatever" the first single is already climbing the
charts through out Canada.
With a massive following around the United States and Canada and an impressive show
schedule, from Bermuda, New York, California; all the summer festivals in Québec for the
year 2002 and some selective dates with Kool & the Gang on their world tour.
