This is the moment that will tell the story of this music which has evolved since the start of the last century. Singing intensifies the soul of blues transporting us to a universe that we take pleasure in re-discovering every time. From the melancholy songs of the first Afro-Americans to the young composers of today that create complex and rhythmic compositions, Rosy Blues Band will present, their way, all these differences.
Carl Dutremble is the guitarist and specialist of blues, that he discovered at the same time as his passion for guitars. Mario Couture, bassman, unites the different influences in the group. His roots are in jazz but his heart is funk. Christian Lafrenière, drummer, is the central motor of this experience, he brings to each his knowledge of rhythms. Rosanne Bissonette, the woman, the voice, the strength, is the pillar of this group. Her raspy voice, typical of blues, will let us ride on all the different melodies and will transport us in her flight of lyrics.
