Breen Leboeuf
Native of North Bay Ontario, Breen Leboeuf, is one of the most prolific personalities of
the last decennaries in Quebec. Singer and bassman of the memorable group, Offenbach, he remained
until the last show, in November 1985, at legendary Forum. Awarded a Felix in rock music at
the first annual ADISQ awards, he rubs elbows, on stage, with the likes of
Vic Vogel, Chuck Berry, Gerry Boulet, Zachary Richard, Plume Latraverse,
Nanette Workman, and Céline Dion. Amidst musical comedies, musical scores,
producing and directing recordings, he co-produced his first solo album "De ville en aventure".
He is an investor in the anthology of Offenbach and Félic Leclerc. Breen's original songs
have lyrics from authors like Jean Hould and Marc Bilodeau. He surrounds himself with
collaborators of quality and renown. With his warm and rich voice, he will play for us,
hits from his last three albums along with some from the unforgettable Offenbach era, classics of blues.
No, there will not be any Christmas songs (he is reserving that for our next season).
Accompanying him will be Roger Mann on vocals and guitar, Bob St-Laurent on drums, and Daniel Mongrains
a young guitarist from Trois-Rivières who flips from blues to heavy metal on the fly.
Breen Lebouef does not tour anymore, so this is a show you do not want to miss.
